After csection pain meds?

Question

I had a c section 6 years ago and they used dilaudid to treat the pain which didn't give me any bad side effects. When I had my gall gladder taken they user other meds but made me feel horrible. Would it be OK to ask the doctor if  i can have the dilaudid

With my c-sections doc always prescribed Percocet but, that gives me bloody scary nightmares. So he prescribes me Vicodin and Ibuprofen. You can always ask and tell them how your body reacts to different meds. Just ask the nurse and she/he will call doc. Hope this helped you. Best of luck 💗
