Period on depo?

I started the depo December of 2020, my periods completely stopped but last night i had i intercourse with my boyfriend he did hurt me but we both continued by the time we stopped looked at the bed and we saw blood on our bed I go to the bathroom in so much pain i can feel that I did Tear just cleaned up went to bed in the morning woke up with a spotty underwear but around 2pm I go to the bathroom again in pain at this point I see blood clots I’m thinking it’s my period…has anyone experienced this?
