Boy problems

Okay so me and my boyfriend have been chilling with each other we play around make other stuff but we usually joke around about my ex. One day he brought up my ex and I remembered that my ex texted me for thanksgiving but was a little too thankful for me and wanted me back but I made it clear that I was over him and moved on so I showed my boyfriend the messages because I had nothing to hide but also showed him a picture of my ex. He got mad at me because I showed him a picture of my ex n was still communicating with him. I told him that I did excommunicate my ex but the only way he was able to reach me was social media we ended up having a huge argument where I started breaking things and kicked him out now I feel sad and he won't text me back no matter how much I text him. Am I wrong in any way??
