How much weight loss before calling the doctor?

I have my first appointment in about a week. I’ve been suffering major GI issues the past couple weeks and have lost a total of 6lbs. I’ve been losing a pound a day the last two days. Should I call for an earlier appointment?

I’d call the nurse line to ask. 
Losing weight can be totally normal.
I started off overweight (5’3 and 189lbs) dropped to 159lbs by 16 weeks. My doctor wasn’t concerned. It’s been a healthy pregnancy and baby is growing fine. 
I also wouldn’t weigh yourself every day. I can fluctuate 2-5lbs in a day from morning to night between water and food intake. It’s best to weigh yourself like every Monday at the same time to get a better idea of you’re actually dropping pounds. 
Remember a lot of factors go into weight loss/gain in pregnancy. Not drinking alcohol, morning sickness (food aversion, nausea, vomiting), eating better/worse, constipation/diarrhea, water intake, growing uterus….so on.
Again, always call your doctor or nurse line if you are concerned! That’s what they are there for!
