ECV for first time moms?

My husband and I are deciding whether to try an ECV. We would have it done in hospital but I'm still nervous about distress to the baby, but also weighting pros/cons vs leaving it and most likely having a c section. Would love to hear from any FTMs who had one, successful or unsuccessful. Thanks 😊

I would've tried had my son not flipped around, he turned sort of late, we were almost 36 weeks when he finally did.

Has your doctor mentioned the stretches you can do to encourage baby turning? They're simple yoga like poses that have you at an incline where your hips will be higher than your shoulders. I preferred the one where I was on all fours (hands/knees) then go down to your elbows and leave your behind in the air. Hanging belly gives them more room to move than when you're standing.

Another is to lay on your back on the floor then put your legs up on the couch, and put a pillow under your hips. I think that would work better if the mom isn't as far along in pregnancy, but again, just gives the baby more room to move without gravity pulling your belly like when standing. Good luck!
