Birth Control

So i started my birth control ,today will mark the last day before i start the sugar pills . i had my first period at 17 and only had two since . I am currently 19 so i decided to get on bc for safety precautions. The doctor told me by the second week of the pills my period should come ,which it has and the cramping is severely bad .I have been bleeding for two weeks straight & i have to keep constantly changing my pad every 45 mins , sometimes even shorter . i keep bleeding through my pants even with the pads on . I have been having lots of blood clots as well as been running through a whole box of pads in one day .. When will the bleeding stop ???????????? i can’t take these cramps anymore!!!!!!!

It’s embarrassing how many times i’ve bleed through my clothes and had 2 pads on . wth is going on. ??????
