Pressure

I’m 34 weeks and for the past few weeks I’ve been feeling a lot of pressure almost feels like my water is going to break at any moment. I’ve also been having a sharp like feeling that I can only really describe as the pain you feel when the doctor checks to see if your cervix is dilated except it’s more of a sudden feeling. I mentioned this at my last appt last week and the doctor checked and said I wasn’t dilated but his head is wedged in there. I’ve been having crampy Braxton Hicks contractions and lots of mucus discharge. With my last I was 50% effaced really early but still would of probably made it to my due date if doctor hadn’t accidentally broke my water 4 days before. I never felt any of this pressure/ sharpness with him. Anybody know why this could be happening? My last was also a bigger baby
