Indoor Dining? What is truly safe?

Audrianna • 29 year old Mama of my little girls Quinn Kathleen, Everly Claire and Piper Jean.

We are still being VERY cautious and avoid indoor places 95% of the time. But, I have the opportunity to take my kids to the Sugar Factory at the Foxwoods in CT, which is something we’ve always wanted to do.

I’m feeling very uneasy about them being at an indoor restaurant, in an indoor place, where I’m sure most people don’t wear masks, and they themselves can’t wear them while eating.

Things are trending horribly for children right now, so part of me instantly just thinks HELL NO, but another part of me wonders if I should just do it, because it may be our last chance before things get way worse again.

We would be going on a Wednesday night, we would stay the one night in the hotel and go to the one restaurant, leaving early Thursday for the beach, which was our originally planned vacation, this is something we now have the opportunity to add on to that we previously couldn’t do.

What would you do? I tried asking in a local group how things have been crowd/busy wise but haven’t gotten much in response. I’m feeling very torn and I’m so tired of constantly doing risk assessments.

I will also add I’m 36 weeks pregnant, once this baby comes we for sure WILL NOT be doing any indoor places at all so is it worth it to add this one thing to our vacation plans as a last hurrah to our kids?
