Birth photos and story! *graphic*
I was due 8/17 with our third child. My oldest was diagnosed with a genetic condition about 4 months ago that this baby has a 50% chance of having as well. Our oldest has vision and hearing loss that is progressing and our home was not going to be safe for him and with potentially two disabled children we knew long term we needed a new house so we decided to sell ours. Of course the house we tried buying sold from under us and our house sold fast and there is nothing on the market right now so we began to move into my inlaws home. Not an ideal situation as my husband two toddlers new born and two large dogs will be sharing one bedroom for the foreseeable future but hey this too shall pass right. We spent all day 8/7 moving out of our house as we closed on 8/9. The night of 8/7 I began having irregular contractions all night and they progressively became more painful but not consistent in time. At 5am on 8/8 we went to the hospital when I got to the room I felt like I needed to push so the nurses hurriedly called my doctor. The doctor finally gets there and checks me and I'm 9cm. They all hurry and begin setting up for baby to come. When they got everything set up my doctor checks me again and finds I'm 10cm and baby is very low so he tells me I can start pushing. I pushed for 13mins and delivered my handsome man at 5:43am. We were discharged from the hospital on 8/9 and closed on our house then as well. It's been an incredibly stressful time I keep reminding myself that it will all be worth it to have a safe home for our children. so many life changes all at once have proved very challenging and not going to lie mentally I'm struggling but God knew I needed a good baby and man did I get one! This is my sweet Draxton Joseph ❤
