Sick or just sleepy?

My baby is almost 6 weeks old. For the first 4 weeks of her life she NEVER napped. She’s always awake. The last few days she’s been napping pretty much all day long. I am super worried she’s getting sick but she hasn’t had a fever no runny nose or anything. I’m super thrown off by her switch up and can’t help but think something is wrong. Anyone else have this happen?

It’s probably the 6 weeks growth spurt! Bigger more frequent feeds in a few days should confirm that.

Is it normal that during these growth spurts for them to feed like crazy if they are bottle fed? My daughter will eat 4oz and wants another ounces like every 30 minutes. She never throws up so I’m assuming she’s not being over fed.

There is a growth spurt around that time that is likely the culprit. If she’s getting enough food / having appropriate diaper output / has no symptoms, it’s probably just that but don’t hesitate to check in with your doctor if you’re concerned.
