My due date was 8/18 and my scheduled c-section was supposed to be tomorrow. The first 1/2 of July I spent multiple days in L&D after every check up due to high BP and protein in my urine. Luckily they gave me the steroid shots 2 weeks before I ended up delivering. Finally on 7/19 at 35+5 they decided it was time for her to come!

I ended up being diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia as well and spent 3 days back in the hospital after we were discharged due to stroke range BP levels and low heart rate.

Mamas if you ever feel like something isn’t right, trust your gut! I am here today with my babies solely on the instinct that I knew something wasn’t right and went back to the ER. Picture of my sweet girl who came out breathing on her own and needed no help being almost 5 weeks early 💕
