Does your little one nap in light or dark?

Does baby nap in a brightly lit room or a dark room? I have blackout curtains in baby’s nursery but up until now, I haven’t been making it dark during the day. However, the last few days, he wakes up as soon as I lay him down in his crib for naps. He’s 10 weeks and only takes good naps on me or when he falls asleep in his bounce chair. Otherwise he needs to be in a completely deep sleep in order to sleep in his crib now. Trying to figure out if maybe I should start closing his curtains. I don’t want to get in a bad habit of him sleeping anywhere but his crib or bassinet.
