How do you heal a heart break?

My husband passed away  after 15 years of marriage due to a massive heart attack from his diabetes. 
My heart feel so much pain and my mind feels empty.
I am seeing a Grieving counselor now but I feel the need to talk about it more.
Anyone have any tips on dealing with grief?

I’m so sorry for your loss. When I lost my partner unexpectedly to a motorcycle accident one thing that helped me is someone gave me a journal and I would write to him, write down memories I didn’t want to forget, write down stories he told me.. all kinds of things. I was terrified of forgetting the little details. I am so grateful to have this journal to keep his memory alive. Be kind to yourself- one day at a time. If that is too much, one hour. If that’s still too much, one minute.

Have you joined a support group for grieving spouses? There is probably one in your area and it might be a good source of support in addition to therapy.

This is a very difficult time in your life, my condolences. I can't offer a huge amount of advice but some people may make you feel bad for grieving/ grieving in your own way - don't feel bad about grieving the way you need to.
