My 9 and a half month old just had her first sleepover at my parents house! These were my thoughts as a first time mom.

It was wonderful getting to reconnect with my husband one-on-one.

It was fun getting to go golfing together and act like kids for a day.

It was so nice going out for a fancy dinner, dressing up, and not having to worry about nap schedules or bottles, or bringing a diaper bag, or a potential meltdown in a restaurant.

It was nice getting to sleep in and drink my coffee in bed.

But after all of that, the best part was picking her up! She wins every time and we both missed her like crazy!

Crazy what being a mom does to your heart! 💗
