Natural birth with OB?

Has anyone actually given birth drug free with an OB doctor? I just hope my doctor is supportive with my decision on a natural birth and it is too late for me to switch to a midwife!

I did and will this time. Easy peasy. I just told them not to even offer me any drugs, I will let them know if I want anything. They left me alone, it was very nice.

The OB's in Florida try pushing for natural births. I did it. They are very very supportive. Even nurses. During labor, when it got to bad I asked for them to stop the pain, they asked if I wanted the epideral, told them yes, and they said they wanted to try natural methods first. With the pushing on my lower back, caused my daughter to get down very low and she was born 10 minutes later. Honestly they really do try for natural more than anything.

Yup! I had my husband help by telling the nurse for me at times. It's great to have that support during contractions and long labor. You can do it!
