Bf mamas

Hello!!

I’m curious what breastfeeding looks like for y’all nowadays. For us, little buddy usually nurses right before nap and bedtime, but also on demand throughout the day. Today it was pretty much the only time he wasn’t yelling at me because he’s cranky and nothing else worked. To be honest, not even that worked sometimes. 😂 he’s teething again. He has started to “ask” for it by burying his head in my chest and blowing raspberries which I find hilarious. He usually only nurses for a minute or two though then pops off but gets mad at me if I put him down. It’s annoying.

I’ve been adamant about wanting to nurse on demand until I can articulate to him why we aren’t nursing anymore. My sister nurses til just after 2 years old and just explained that “mamas milk is all gone” and her baby got it and was totally fine. I feel like if I stop before he “gets it”, I’ll just have to deal with him having tantrums and not being able to communicate.

What’s everyone else doing?? Just curious!!
