Tips on a sleeping schedule and sleeping in his crib

Hello, my son is a month old. I hold him a lot and he prefers to have skin to skin with me while sleeping or if I lay him down he has to be touching me to feel secure and have comfort. Any tips for getting your baby to sleep through the night and in a bassinet. When is a good time to transition him from his bassinet to crib? Right now I breastfeed so everytime he wakes up I fed and I pump as well. How can I get him to sleep more than waking up every 4 hours?
