Potty training update?

My son just randomly noticed his potty sitting in the room and started using it. Then I kept him interested in using it by doing “sticker time” afterwards where I let him pick out one or two stickers. He’s used the actual toilet and a public toilet too. But he still has trouble verbalizing when we are out in public so he wears a diaper when we go out and he wears one to bed. I think Daniel Tiger and Elmo has helped influence him too. 😊

We were told that if they can go all of their awake times without pull ups/diapers then they are potty trained. Sleeping without peeing is a separate milestone. We still have moments when we’re out that he wears a pull up because sometimes we just can’t find a bathroom fast enough and we drive the interstate a lot which makes it hard to pull off the road. He holds it as long as he can. Thankfully he hasn’t had an accident away from the house in months.
