Any police officers (U.S.)?
About 6 months ago my husband I and decided to stop using birth control and "see what happens."
For the past 2 months I've been seriously thinking about applying to become a police officer. The county in which I would apply isn't accepting applications at the moment. Which works out well, because I need some time to get back in shape.
I'm currently a paralegal and I'm not unfamiliar with long hours, research, etc. My question is, should we put on hold having a family before the application process begins, or wait until after the application (and hopefully the academy) to start a family?
