I prefer Axel to Ryatt. Axel would be easier to hear on the phone, etc. Ryatt could be misheard for more popular names e.g. Wyatt, Ryan etc. As a Cassie who often gets things addressed to "Cathie" 🙄 that was my main reason. I've never heard of Ryatt before but I'm from Wales 🤷‍♀️ So it might be more popular where you are.
I wouldn't worry too much about Axel entering the top 100. There is a LOT less variation in boys names than girls, most boys are more distributed to the top of the list, with very uncommon names being towards 70-100 but being nowhere near as popular as those in the 70-100 on the girl list. I think Axel hits that sweet spot where its an established name, but very unlikely there'll be more than 1 per class.

We are going with Axel! After much deliberation over months with my hubby trying to agree on a name 😂 so I voted for that bc I love it lol
