How to know if you have preeclampsia ?

Bp is 128/87 and I have a headache that just started . 4 days pp

Chances are it’s your headache that’s raising your BP slightly. Pain will do that. Plus, it can take a bit in the postpartum period for you BP to go back down consistently. I wouldn’t worry too much. Keep track of your BP but it’s not all that high right now ♥️ try and relax. Take a Tylenol for your headache.

For now, it’s okay. My first OB told me to not worry until it was around/higher 140/90 and the OB I’m with now told me not to go in unless my bottom number is over 100. You could call your nurse line and see what they say. Try to relax, do not take it again today. Take some Tylenol for headache, get some help at home with baby, maybe take a nap, and take your bp tomorrow

Slightly elevated but not high BP. 140 is considered high.

A high BP is anything over 140/90. When I had preeclampsia my BP was 175/102.
