I almost always breastfeed my baby and rarely pump/give him a bottle. Well tonight I had two big glasses of wine and decided pumped/frozen milk would be better.

I got his bottle ready and noticed the milk had a funny smell so I tasted it and then did a side by side comparison with the fresh. The milk that had been frozen was disgusting. I pumped and stored it correctly and it had been frozen for less than a month.

Is it normal for freezer milk to taste different than fresh or had it gone bad?
