Boy Mom.. and that’s ok!
Ok.. I just need to vent a little…. This is my 3rd baby, this will be my last baby. My husband and I have decided that our family will be complete once this baby is here.
Baby #3 is a boy, making him our 3rd boy.
I’m not going to lie, I was hoping to have a little girl. But now that we know baby’s gender, we are over the moon excited and I couldn’t imagine anything else.
Here comes my frustration… lately it has been DAILY I have been told that I should “try for a girl” or that it’s “too bad” that baby is a boy or “are you sure he’s a boy?”…. Friends, coworkers, strangers at the grocery store.. Gaahhhh…
Why does it feel like I let people down by telling them that I have 3 boys?! And why is it ok to say those things to a mom, who has absolutely no control over the sex of her unborn child? Is my baby less special because he already has 2 brothers?! Ughhh..
Sorry, probably just hormones over here, but I’m beyond annoyed with it.
I can’t wait for my little man to get here. 💙 and besides I already know I make some beautiful boys, so this one should be a showstopper as well 😉
