Does this look like HFM?

Hi everyone, 
I have a doctor appointment this afternoon but thought I'd jump on here while waiting..
Does this look like HFM to you? All week my baby had a little red mark on his finger (looked like a cut) and now looks like this. He has a cold and ear infection atm too and has been sucking his fingers.
It is only the 1 sore.. nothing else on his whole body

My son had something like this twice once when he was about 6months old and when he was about 3 or 4 and it was on his finger both times. It was called Impetigo. His finger looked exactly like this I thought it was HMF as well but nope it was Impetigo. When it becomes a blister and pops it oozes white stuff and it's very contagious meaning it could spread to other places if you touch the stuff that comes out of the blister. They gave my son cream to put on it and I kept a bandaid over it just so he would not touch it.

Mouth usually starts w a high fever and bsby eill scream due to sores in mouth and usually more sores than that
