Does this mean that I am having contractions?

I came to the L&D because I felt a gush of liquid coming down earlier today. They hook me up to all the machines while I wait for the doctor... does this report means that I am having contractions??? 
I am a FTM so I am a little lost and worried here.

Little ones, yes. Still very irregular. If your water broke you’re having that baby today or early tomorrow, your natural contractions should kick in fairly soon otherwise you’ll be getting some
Pitocin. Good luck!!!
