Our plan is to have our dog stay with my MIL for a few days after we get home from the hospital (in addition to when I’m in labor). We’re thinking of dropping off a hospital blanket or something from baby at MIL’s house so our dog can get used to the scent. Then when we’re ready, fur baby can come home and meet his brother.

Really hoping this helps him ease into the introduction. Our dog is very high energy and I’m worried about his temperament and excitement being overwhelming. He’s a vocal doggo for sure.
