My baby is 11 months old and weighs about 21.3 lbs. We don’t visit my MIL too often because she is never home, but when we do she ALWAYS asks about my baby’s weight. It’s fine that she’s asks but I have a problem with her response and questions after. And every visit is basically the same “Why don’t you put cereal in her milk?”

My MIL started putting cereal in all her kids milk since they were 5 months & I guess she expected me to do the same. I personally never knew it was a thing. My family never did it & our doctor has never mentioned it. What really set me off last time was when her bf asked “How much does she weigh?” And when I told him he looked at my MIL and said “oh”. After that my husband saw I was annoyed and we left.

I’m really just wanting someone to tell me if I’m wrong for feeling like this. It’s bugging me A LOT & need someone who isn’t in our family to tell me their opinion. I went to my mom and she was 100% with me but that’s my mom so she’s biased lol she supports all my decisions.
