Hi ladies

I’ve recently had my normal checkup at 26 weeks and when they listened to babies heart beat, it didn’t sound normal. My midwife said, that sounds different and got her manager to come and listen. She did too and had similar thoughts and decided a trip to hospital to get a doc to listen was needed. We headed to hospital and the doc again had similar thoughts and took heaps of images. Baby’s heart beats are skipping.

We ordered an emergency ultrasound which I got to do the next day and the lady took loads of images and different angles showing the heart beat skipping. Sometimes the heart would beat fine then go through large patches of skipped beats. She was Skyping docs in another city who kept asking for different angles etc. They eventually said they will contact me when they figure out what’s going on.

Has anyone gone through this? I’m waiting to hear back some news.
