When to send thank you cards for registry gifts

Our baby shower isn’t until the end of September but we’re starting to get some registry gifts delivered. Considering that not everyone will go to the shower but still purchased gifts for us, do we send thank you cards as gifts arrive or send them all out at once after the shower?

I’m sending mine after the baby shower.

My brain was not capable of remembering anything. I had to send the thank you card as soon as I got the gifts. Ymmv.

I did mine as soon as gifts arrived, I also kept a Google sheet. That way I wouldn’t forget with pregnancy brain.

I kept a list and sent them all out a week or two after the shower. I think either way you do it would be appropriate.
