My boyfriend and I are trying to conceive, and I’m trying to figure it out. I’ve been taking ovulation tests, and finally had peak (solid smiley) on day 14, and it’s supposed to stay smiley for a couple days so I stopped testing. We did the deed days leading up and also a 2 days during the peak. I’m 3 days before my period, (currently on cycle day 26) my cycles are 26-28 days. My question is, if my ovulation tests said I was at peak fertility and to have sex for best results, and I’m bleeding/spotting 3 days before my period (in the possible implantation bleeding window), could it be actual implantation bleeding, or did my period start early even though I ovulated on day 15 which is when I would for a 28 day cycle?

Someone please help me figure this out? I’m new to this!
