Updating from another post I wanted to give an update and also peg the question should the doctor lose her license for repeated false claims and destroying the lives of hundreds of families.

An investigation into the doctor’s history has confirmed that she is in fact being sued for false claims of abuse to families that has resulted in jail time or semi-permanent removal of the child from homes.

Syesha Mercado was accused of abuse of her 13 month old son who was brought in to the hospital for dehydration as he was struggling to transition from breastfeeding to solid food. Smith’s primary claim was that Mercado didn’t bring the child in to a doctors appointment prior to the hospital visit. However the lawyer for Mercado has disputed that claim.

But here is my take on the situation I think this is disgusting and intentional. She is messing with the lives of these people and destroying these families. This is not ok at all. She deserves more than just her license being taken away in my opinion
