So today I was in my kitchen and felt a big gush it happened twice. Then I laid down and got up and every time I get up something was coming out. So I called my ob and they told me to come in. I saw the doctor and they did a swab and when she was checking my cervix she said she saw a collection of fluid which looked like amniotic fluid. I asked her what it could be if it wasn’t fluid and she said she wasn’t sure because it looked like amniotic fluid to her. She told me if the test came back positive then I would have to be admitted until I delivered and they wouldn’t let me go past 34 weeks but she said most women don’t make it that long. So they sent me up to labor and delivery. The test came back negative but it also wasn’t urine. They aren’t sure what it is. So they told me to go home and just keep an eye on it. If it continues I have to go back into labor and delivery. I’m home now but still a nervous wreck because I don’t know what it was.
