My daughter is well beyond her years.

Earlier this month she began pre-school at a pre-k - 8th grade public school. Even though she was just put in pre-school she has been home schooled due to Covid.

She knows;

-Alphabet

-Sign language

-Sounds of letters

-Sound out words

-All her colors and shapes

-Numbers

-Counting to 100

-Basic addition/subtraction

When we ask her about school she is always so indifferent. She states that she didn’t learn anything because they are teaching things for little kids. I understand they are not going to provider her the special attention she needs while in preschool but she is getting the socialization with kids her age that she has been lacking.

I’m torn if we should have the convo with admin about moving her up a grade or two.

If we keep her where she is at she is not academically being challenged but if we do move her up are there any disadvantages she may come across???
