Hey ladies! I’m getting my basement waterproof estimate tomorrow. Hopefully to finish the basement and make some Bedrooms and rooms. Do you think it’s mean or be okay to put my 7 year old stepson down there and make his room out baby room? ￼￼

Like people said, it really depends on his attitude about the new baby and the basement room. You can totally frame it favorably which could help. Try to make it his choice tho, otherwise there could def be resentment.

I think if it’s framed appropriately it’ll be fine. Make it exciting. Call it his big kid room (“the baby needs to be close because they’re a baby but you’re a big kid!”) Let him pick out colors and theme. Etc etc.
