Does your SO do nice things for you all the time?

My SO doesn't hardly ever buy anything for me like flowers or surprise me with dinner or anything we have two kids but were only 25 were still young enough for romance and showing me he loves me ! Just want to know if it's normal , I just want him to remind me that he still loves me

Believe it or not, he might be showing you love, just in the wrong way for you to receive it. Discovering what tells each other "I love you" can definitely benefit any relationship and help pick up the romance.

He's not the flowers type, but if I mention I fancy a doughnut, he will go out and buy every single doughnut in the shop. (He did this just 3 days ago).

I have the same issue, we don't even have kids to tire us out, but after so long I don't get the compliments or much anymore, I know he still loves me but I would like to FEEL it more!

Different things are normal for different couples! If you feel like he isn't making an effort to show you how he feels, you should talk to him about it. Don't necessarily say something like, "You never buy me flowers anymore!" but bring up how you would like to start going on more dates and having romantic nights in without the kids.
