Any other moms have/had covid? 😥

I tested positive this morning and I’m quarantining away from my almost 1 year old. My heart is absolutely breaking. I hate being away from him. My husband and I are both fully vaccinated and wear masks. Any words of advice or solidarity?

My doctor said eveyone in the household should be quarantined for 10 -14 days. There was no reason to send baby out of home due to being exposed. Baby could potentially expose uninfected caretakers if positive. She Also said to wear a mask during feeds, wash hands, said to sanitize as much as possible ect. My OB told me when I had if I were to test positive they wouldn't take baby from me either just mask and quarantine us in a negative pressure room. How bad are your symptoms? Once you are symptom free for 24 hrs with not medications you should be fine to be around him. Just remember you can test positive for up to 3 months as your body sheds the virus, and you can get the virus again so if you have symptoms during that 3 months you may have it again.

Three of us had it in July. 
We caught it at an urgent care facility. I got sick first, and didn’t even think it was Covid until I experienced loss of smell. By that time it was too late to quarantine from my baby or husband. I had a bad headache from being congested, runny nose, loss of smell, some cough.
My husband had it three days later than me with slight fever, congestion, some cough. 
Our son had it worse than us- fever for 3-4 days, a bit of wheezing for a day, runny nose, weakness. 
But we all got over it. 
My husband and I were fully vaccinated back in April, Pfizer. Both wore masks everywhere, and didn’t really go anywhere either. Still caught it. Apparently the Delta variant is very contagious. 
Stay strong, run a humidifier, lots of liquids, Vit C and D

My whole family had it in the winter.
My husband and I got the whole shebang with congestion, loss of taste/ smell for two weeks. Like a really rough head cold.
My two toddlers were “sick” for maybe a day. 
I was nervous for my daughter because when we all catch something, she gets it the worst. With covid she had it a dayish and honestly they were just lazier that day.

My husband and I had it back in December when my son was only 3 months. We didn’t do anything different. My husband ended up in the hospital for a few days but my symptoms were very mild. I did not keep myself away from baby at all 🤷🏼‍♀️ he had a low grade fever for one day and that’s it.

Our whole family got it a month ago. Our 11 month old had the digestive issues from it but thankfully no respiratory issues. My parents and sister also had it at the same time so we went and stayed at their house and quarantined together since I couldn’t lift the baby without my heart rate skyrocketing and my oxygen dropping. Definitely drink as much water as you possibly can. I drank so much water early on and I think it really helped with the cold/flu like symptoms.
