Tips/advice for work anxiety?
I started a new job yesterday but today is my actual training and as much as I tell myself I’m gonna be fine and I’m okay my anxiety still is active and it is the worst feeling. I’m on meds and I took my medicine as soon as I woke up and started to feel nervous but I’m working 10 am until 5 pm and I’m definitely gonna be anxious while there… does this happen to anyone else? This is kinda like my first actual job too because my anxiety made me not want to work for years but I’m 22 and need to. Will this go away over time? The people I work with seem very understanding and laid back. It’s a grocery store environment but my brain and body still go into panic mode 🙄🤢
