Are you waking sleeping baby to change diaper?

My baby pooped in her sleep and it’s a big one and it’s stinky and I’m just wondering how long I can let her sit in it until I change it. I’m scared to wake her bc it took so long to her down but this diaper is really yucky!!

I change when I nurse. So about every 2-3 hours. If he’s stinky I’ll change him. His bootys already sensitive so I’m using a&d cream.

I change poop diapers no matter how much or as it smells. I wouldn’t want to be sitting in shit so I’m not going to make my baby sit in it.

If it’s poop the. Definitely change it. But I change her diaper everytime she feeds. Usually before or right after I feed her she gets changed.

Honestly, in my opinion, it depends. If I know the baby is due to wake up soon, I’ll just change him when he wakes up. If he just fell asleep then I’ll change him but keep the room as dark as possible and try super hard not to wake him. My almost 2 year old had a massive poop once when she was like 9 months old and she had just gone to bed. I resorted to changing her in the crib and she didn’t wake up. It’s so frustrating when that happens though!
