Birth control helped me get pregnant?

Question

I am wondering if it was birth control that helped me get pregnant because before i wasnt on any birth control and i could never get pregnant for like 2 years. I got on a birth control pill because i saw a youtube video and this lady said birth control helped her get pregnant so i was on it for like 4 months and i started trying again so i wouldn't take the birth control everyday since i wanted to get pregnant and in just 3 months of trying i got pregnant . so does it actually help u get pregnant

I was sexually active and never got pregnant until I decided to get on bc. I only took 2 pills then quit . I hate extra hormones lol , but anywho that same month I conceived my first child.. now I’m just fertile as ever !!

I contribute being on BC for over 10 years to messing up my hormones and that is why it took me so long to get pregnant the first time

Not exactly.
Going on birth control suppresses your natural hormone production and uses synthetic hormones to create a synthetic cycle in which you don’t ovulate but have a regular bleed. 
When you stop taking the synthetic hormones and your natural hormones start back up, it’s common for ovulation to occur more readily than it might have used to. That doesn’t mean your ovulation will automatically become more regular or that it’s “easier” to get pregnant. It just means you likely have an increased chance shortly after coming off of birth control before your cycles go back to how they were before.
Birth control doesn’t “regulate” anything, it doesn’t fix anything, all it does is cover up symptoms like an irregular cycle. Your cycles will eventually go back to however they were before birth control once you stop it.

If you had an irregular period before BC and then it became regular then it’s possible. That worked for my best friend. Pregnant 2 months off the BC
