Guideline to determining if a test is BFP or BFN
So, I've noticed on this app that there are a lot of women who don't know how to read a pregnancy test and are commenting on tests that are invaild or BFN's. and giving false hope. Hopefully, not on purpose 😬
So here's some guide lines.
-First of all blue dye tests are the devil. They are know for indents and false positives.
-A line is not a line. I REPEAT, A LINE IS NOT ALWAYS A LINE.
-If the second line is not pink, it's a bfn. It has to be pink to be a BFP.A grey line is not a BFP, that is a Evap or indent.
-A test that is visibly old should not be commented on other than to tell to test again. Anything after 10 mins is invaild.
- you can tell a test is old cause it has turned yellow, and the pink dye looks more like purple now.
- a test removed from its casing, no matter the amount of time that has passed is INVAILD. Every single time.
-I honestly hope this helps. I am not trying to be snarky. It just hurts my heart to see multiple comments of "I see it! Congrats!" On a post and it's nothing more than a bad indent. Cause let's be honest, if people are tellin you your pregnant, you're gonna get your hopes up. You can't help it.
If anyone is interested I can ran sack the interwebz to look for tests that show what I'm talking about if anyone wants that.
