How do you all manage to cut your infants fingernails ?

My daughter will be 3 months on the first . I’m scared to use nail clip in fear of cutting too low

I just clip my littles nails while they are sleeping so that I can take my time and be careful not to clip into the quick.

I waited til my son was asleep when he was that young. Last time I cut them, he actually asked me to and told me thanks when I was finished. He’s 2.5.

Since they grow back in what feels like 24hrs I honestly wrestle with my son to get it done. He is 6 months old now and if we are playing and I notice a scratch on his face or he scratches my face then I pretty much have to arm wrestle him in that moment to cut them off. But normally I do cut them while he sleeps makes it much easier for me

Also, baby’s nails are much softer after a bath, so that can help!
