Ebf should i keep taking vitamin d drops?

FTM here, I was given vitamin d drops for my son and I when he was a newborn. I’m not sure if We have to keep taking them? He’s 4 months now and very healthy but I wanna make sure he’s getting all his nutrients.

My sons ped recommended giving them to him until he was atleast 1. Now at 21 months he gets a multivitamin to make sure he is getting all of his nutrients he may not get on his "toddler diet".

My pediatrician said she would put everyone on a vitamin D supplement if she could 😂 so yes i would continue it

Yes, continue giving them until at least 1 when you're giving milk that has vit D added. I still give my kid Vit D in bad weather/winter.

I asked my pediatrician how long our daughter should be on vitamin d and she said “until college”

Vitamin D is an important vitamin and most of us are deficient of it. I’d say continue for as long as possible :) there isn’t gonna be any harm of continuing but stopping could mean he might get deficient in Vitamin D, well unless he’s out in the sun pretty often 😅
