Tubes tied???

Has anyone had there tubes tied yet?? I agreed to getting mines tied and I’m not sure what to expect after the operation. Does it hurt what’s the pain level from 1-10????

I spoke with my OBGYN and she suggested that my husband get a vasectomy instead. She said getting your tubes tied is a lot more invasive and has more risks when compared to what men go through during a vasectomy. My mom had her tubes tied (30 years ago) and she said it was painful but she got through it. My friend had hers done after her c-section this past June and her recovery was a little harder then her other two c-sections.

I’ve heard it’s a rougher recovery, my husband has offered to get snipped after we have our second and I’m not gonna argue with that 😂

Heard so many horror stories about getting tubes tied.. Major pain every time AF comes.. Bleed way more.. In my eyes definitely not worth the surgery.. Better off the male getting it done
