I teach drama so I have students age 7-17

Obviously the older ones will catch on when they see my belly and a lot of their parents follow me on social media so they will see my announcement

I’m concerned about my younger students, I don’t want to have to answer awkward questions (where do babies come from) and I’m not sure how parents would like me to handle the situation.

Parents of elementary age kids—

Would you want their teacher to notify you and let you have the conversation with them?

Would you be upset if your child age 7-11 came home telling you their teacher is pregnant?

How would you prefer your child’s teacher handled it?
