i just had my baby a month ago, but i’m thinking about having another one in the future.  what’s the best age difference for kids to have?

Ideally you should give your body at least 18 months after giving birth to fully heal before you start trying again for another baby.
We plan on waiting until our first is almost 2! She was born October 2020 and we plan to start trying for #2 in August or September 2022!

We have 2 under 2 and i dont mind it at all most days. Obviously some days are more difficult than others but i do wish we wouldve waited a little longer. We are planning on having another baby but are going to wait 2-3 years to try to get pregnant again.

Everyone has different experiences. We both work full time so 3 years has been perfect for us. If you're only having 2 maybe consider a few more years between 🤷‍♀️

The best age difference is going to vary from family to family, depending on your finances, your schedules, and where you're at in life. My sister and I are 19 months apart and my husband and his siblings have similar age gaps so we wanted our kids to be around 18-24 months apart. My oldest and my middle are 21 months and 2 days apart and my middle and youngest are 21 months and 8 days apart. So I got pregnant at 12 months pp each time, one time on purpose and one time was a surprise. I love their age gaps and wouldn't do it any different. They're 4.5, almost 3, and 14 months now. It's been really great for us to have small age gaps. I love seeing my boys growing up together. My 4.5 y/o was definitely meant to be a big brother. He is so caring and sweet with both of his little brothers. He is very intuitive as well. My middle one has autism and my eldest is really great with him- finds his security blanket for him when I'm helping him calm down from a meltdown and helps him set up his toys when he is frustrated that they keep falling over. He is great with my littlest one too and gets so excited when he learns to do something new, like crawling and walking. He's his biggest cheerleader. The little one has been pulling to stand for months now and still, every time he does, my eldest runs to me going "The baby is standing up!! Good job, Sterling 👍🏼 😀" It's so sweet.
