Hey mommas, so anyone recently have a section ?
just wondering how long was your hospital stay ?  🤔🤔🤔

With my first my stay was 5 nights but that was only because I had complications and my son was also very jaundiced. 
This baby I’m having a planned c-section and my doctor hopes to only keep me for 2 nights and let me leave the 3rd morning as long as everything goes well and there’s no complications this time.

Not recently, but my first in 2018 was a 3 night stay after I had the baby (though I had her that first night). In March 2020, I was a 4 night stay because my daughter was in the nicu (ended up being there for 2 weeks) and the staff let me stay as long as they could so I could be with my baby at the beginning of the pandemic, and not deal with so much risk of coming in and out every day to see her.

Had mine on June 27th. Left 48 after my babe was born. It’s usually more like 72, but in our area (New York) with COVID they are sending people home a day early if mom and baby look good. To compensate, they sent a visiting nurse the day after we got home to check my incision and weigh the baby etc.

Two nights.  They told me I could go home the next day if I wanted but gave me the choice of staying the second night which i did

First - 7 days (first night was the night before the delivery because I was being monitored) 
Second - 4 days and then our daughter was there an additional 3 and we stayed with her. 
I have a blood disorder, so I had a lot going on that kept me there longer.

Scheduled C-section with my first. No complications. Stayed 2 nights and discharged home on the 3rd day.

Had her on 12/6 and went home 12/8, by choice

I stayed 3 nights (Thursday morning to Sunday morning). They tried getting me out sooner but I was physically not ready..Recovery is no joke.
