Parenting is hard during covid.

Ashley

So we have kept my daughter around a very small circle of people since covid has started. Things were looking better in the late Spring early summer and we were optimistic about signing her up for more activities and now the Delta variant is running rapid and I am in my 2nd trimester with our 2nd baby And I'm struggling with deciding deciding whether or not to sign her up for certain things. Play groups in my area are starting backup in the next couple of weeks but honestly it worries me for her to be in a room with a bunch of other people and other children who can not wear masks But I feel like we are stunting her by not allowing her to explore or play with other kids her age because she is just such a happy kid with a great personality and I know she would really enjoy these activities but I don't know how to get over my fear of her getting sick or me getting sick and it affecting the baby. What are you other parents doing with your children? Are you taking them to indoor activities? Are you still living life as normal as can be? Or are you also keeping your kid close and not having a lot of contact with other people?
