No blood tests

In all this 7 weeks pregnancy that ended in mmc  I haven't got any blood work done. None. Was today to get the pills for abortion (the devastating news of no heartbeat I got yesterday ) and doc said that no bloodiest are needed. Everything will be confirmed trought ultrasonography  and ... pregnancy test.... I asked can I get some hormon levels checked when I will start trying again, and she said - but why? You know you are all right, you just was pregnant ... I am really confused. No hcg tests at the beginning to check if their rising / falling during the pregnancy. No check on proestogen ...
