Vaginal Delivery After C-Section?

Question

Has anyone had a vaginal delivery after a c-section? I’m getting nervous about this whole pushing a baby out thing…. But I also would rather not have major abdominal surgery again…

I’ve had 2 successful VBACs and going for a 3rd VBAC with this current pregnancy. I would take my VBACs any day over another c-section. It did take me FOREVER to push my little humans out, and I did need an episiotomy each time, but my recovery overall seemed so much better.

I wish I had a successful VBAC story but at 9CM my uterus began to rupture so as I felt like I needed to push I was taken into the OR and given a spinal tap to numb my whole body because I could feel pain where it ruptured and delivered via second c section. Currently pregnant with my third and pretty sure there are no doctors who would allow me to attempt again given my history and I’m terrified of a third c section. 🙃

no, but i am trying for a vbac too and i’m literally so scared 😂 the thought of a vaginal birth didn’t scare me the first time around. but now i’m low key terrified. BUT, i hear that the recovery is so much easier and you can eat right after which is what i’m looking forward to the most hahah

Yes! And I’m soooo happy with that decision. I had an induced vbac 16 months after my csection. I’m pregnant again now and will def be doing a vbac again.
