When do I tell my employer about my pregnancy? My friends said to wait until I start showing. However my job is notorious for firing women who are pregnant either before leave and after.

I had to bc I was so sick, my dr room me off work for a while wk bc I had hyperemesis. Had to go to work w a reglan pump.

Let HR know, but you don't necessarily have to let anyone else know until you are comfortable. That way, you'll have something on file in case they would try and fire you. 
If they do, that's illegal and you could pursue legal action.

That's illegal but I know companies find ways around the legality of it citing other reasons. 
I'd probably wait till you have to tell them and hope for the best.

Uhhhh that's illegal. I would file something with HR so if they do try to fire you, you can show there may be a connection between that & your pregnancy.
